So I was reading about the Rat, Wedding, Bow spoiler for Sherlock
And I looked up “His Last Bow,” written by Conan Doyle in 1917. Something caught my eye under Trivia:
After Seeing Holmes years later, Watson remarks on how Holmes has not changed except for a ” horrible goatee ” to which Holmes explains is the sacrifice he had to make for his country.
If Sherlock comes back with a goatee, I will scream.
